More DDR nonsense

Got my first FC (full combo) today! Across the Nightmare (Heavy) - 8 feet. 200+ perfects, 90+ greats. Still only an A... too many greats to make an AA.

I really need to get my perfect count up. I usually get a lot a lot of greats.

Notable accomplishments (I know I suck, thanks):

A on Can't Stop Falling In Love With You (Speed Mix) - jackhammer mad land, yucks.
Consistently B on Rhythm and Police (ok, once you get the crossovers down pat, you are guaranteed a pass, even though people like me mangle the gallops like no one's business) - can't A it yet, even though I get single digit non-perfects and non-greats now.

I am still having problems on Sakura. Can't get a consistent B on it. Always screw up on the slowdown.

Still a long way to go to be good at this game.

People here are incredible. They have like one million activities that they all want to do and they are really good in a lot of them. So, if you want to really feel small, ask the above question. Or you could use it as motivation to want to do more stuff.

School starts tomorrow. I wonder if I'm going to be overwhelmed. After all, its not exactly the easiest choice of courses to do as a freshman. In fact, I am almost willing to bet I will be the ONLY freshman doing one particular course... here being a liberal school and all so you can actually do the courses without the prerequisites (just make sure you still get an A), if the instructor gives you permission.

And the people here are really good at DDR. It's an eye-opener actually seeing someone AA Sakura in real life (so far I haven't seen any AAs on any of the other 10 feet songs, seen an A on Max 300 and Paranoia Survivor though). Given that I can barely B Sakura on a good day...

There was an exhibition debate today, between my school and the other notable school in the area (it's a RATHER notable school though, though I prefer mine :]) and it was quite an eye-opener. Debate might be an interesting activity to take part in.

It's getting colder here now. Even in the day it's rather cold. Tonight's forecast is a 10 deg C night. I am still walking around in a T-shirt and shorts/simple casual pants. Brrrr. The leaves won't start falling for quite a while yet, though.
